Gracie is a filmmaker, editor and collaborator living in Los Angeles, stemming from Minneapolis.
Her passion for psychology and images growing up found its way into editing.
She likes to cut to the heart of a matter and enjoys working on projects that let viewers experience another’s essence, in order to realize we are more connected than we know.
She is an editor on the feature documentary Love, Joy & Power: Tools For Liberation, currently on the festival circuit and most recently screening at DOC NYC 2025. She has worked on numerous documentaries including Sundance’s Author: The JT LeRoy Story, Tremolo’s Shangri-La series, and POV’s And She Could Be Next. She edited a feature documentary called FAITH, which premiered at Vancouver’s Queer Film Fest and Atlanta’s Out On Film Fest. Gracie continues to work on documentaries and experiments with fiction films while enjoys blending the line between the two. Her friends call her the connector of people which has led to outstanding collaborations. She is currently directing a feature documentary in development called Retopia.
